Santa Lucia - Italian Restaurant

One of the best pizza's which could be found in downtown, simply because it's cooked in a clay oven - allowing the pizza to have that unique "clay-oven" smell and taste which is unattainable in any other type of baking.. Simply delicious and a must have !
The lasagna is also incredible here as the cheese used in this dish is very creamy and the meat sauce is also very rich and drenched in a creamy meaty flavor. All this "creaminess" does make the dish does leave you with a bit of heavy big meal feeling , but then again lasagna isn't meant to be a light meal after all. So just make sure you there very hungry to ensure you're able to enjoy the last bite of this delicious meal.
The chicken parmesan was just ok. I felt the chicken was a little hard, chewy and could have done with a little more marinade, but the spaghetti accompanying the dish was very flavorful.
Overall this is a great little Italian restaurant situated in the heart of downtown on the corner of Stanley and St.Catherine which run by a highly experienced chef and well mannered chef who's been trained in Germany and definitely knows how to cook and serve a delicious Italian meal!
